Therefore, men revere Him
Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said:
"Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
"Where were you when i laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off it's dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were it's footings set, or who laid it's cornerstone-
while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?
"Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when i made the clouds it's garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, when i fixed limits for it and set it's door and bars in place, when i said 'This far you may come and no farther; here is where you proud waves halt'?
"Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn it's place, that it might take the earth by it's edges and shake the wicked out of it? The earth takes shape like clay under a seal; it's features sand out like those of a garment. The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.
"Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?
Tell me, if you know all this."
- Job 38:1-18

Who is in control?
We often struggle to rationalize when comprehension eludes us. We seek strength in ourselves and in others when our only true hope for strength and control lies in something bigger than ourselves.
Like a child who is cared for by a parent, neither are we in immediate control of our lives.
Our hope and trust rests in Him.

What's your donkey?
One of my favorite bible stories is the one in Numbers 22:21-34. Ya know, the one where an Angel of the Lord with sword in hand stood in the path of Balaam on his donkey? The donkey would not pass because she saw the Angel, and eventually, laid down. Balaam was so mad, he beat her to get her to move. So the Lord opened the donkeys mouth....oh you'll just have to read the rest yourself!
What's my point? That the Lord uses all of his creation to speak to us, AND to save our lives.
32 The angel of the LORD asked him, "Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me. " 33 The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If she had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared her."

Self titled
I think this photo can be anything anyone wants it to be. So i leave it up for discussion, and for your own little imagination to drift away with the clouds.....
What does it show you?
-It was such a lovely day, everything was just turning green. But i can't help but notice the tinge of sadness in this photo; a content sadness.-

accidental perfection
For a while i didn't know what it was that attracted me to this picture. There is nothing special about it. It's grainy, too dark, and the focal point is all weird due to the giant black angle [bridge] crossing the photo.
But my eye always kept coming back to it.
After staring at it for way to long the simple answer came to me; the photograph is fully Me.
It is everything i am, wish i was, or could ever hope to be. Far from perfect, yet what i believe to be captivating. The moodiness that comes from the rolling clouds and the warmth you feel when you look at the sun. It's simple; no color. Yet full of emotion.
This photo was a complete accident, from my lack of paying attention to the giant bridge ahead. I just wanted to get a snap of the sunset.
Who said good things don't come out of accident?
